Amir M. Sodagar, Ph.D., SM-IEEE, received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2000. Since then, he has been with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and subsequently as a Research Scientist, with K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, as an Associate Professor, with Polytechnique Montreal, Canada as a Professeur Associe, and is currently with York University as an Associate Professor. He is the author of five books, and author/co-author of several book chapters and numerous journal articles and conference papers. His research interests include implantable biomedical microsystems, integrated circuits, and hardware-embedded signal processing.
