Vaishnavi Kannan, MS is a Data Scientist (Clinical Informatics) and lead Clinical Decision Support specialist at UT Southwestern, developing advanced population health and clinical decision support features within the electronic health record. She helped lead a specialty registries project at UT Southwestern developing 43 EHR registries and over 100 CDS tools in one year, recognized with a 1st place national Healthcare Informatics Innovator Award in 2016.
